PO-03-219 ANGIOGRAPHIC ASSESSMENT OF CORONARY VENOUS SYSTEM FOR CANNULATION: LESSONS FROM HIGH-SPEED ROTATIONAL RETROGRADE ANGIOGRAPHY

چکیده

Venous ethanol ablation (VEA) is a novel effective therapy method for radiofrequency refractory ventricular arrhythmias, especially the epicardial or intramural origin sites. Multielectrode catheters and balloons are usually used mapping VEA. However, there limited data on size collateral condition of main tributaries coronary venous system (CVS) in non-heart failure patients. To evaluate CVS making better cannulation strategies via rotational retrograde angiography. We measured analyzed great cardiac vein (GCV), anterior (AIV) (including first septal branch AIV), draining posterior lateral wall left ventricle patients undergoing electrophysiology study. The diameters were view that offered least foreshortening covering. High-speed angiography was performed 60 diameter GCV at level Vieussens valve (the “ostium” GCV) distal end (junction GCV-AIV) larger males than females (6.6±1.2 vs. 5.6±1.3mm, p=0.005; 5.1±0.9 4.6±0.8, p=0.045, respectively) while other showed no difference genders. middle (MCV), (PV), (LV), 4.9±1.3, 3.0±1.0, 2.9±1.0, 4.4±1.0 1.4±0.7, respectively). 96% had between tributaries. Over half them (62.5%) MCV AIV. provide systematic description measurement CVS. Rotational could be useful comprehensive assessment before ablation.

Staff dose assessment from coronary angiography

Background: Interventional cardiology procedures such as coronary angiography (CA) and percutaneous transluminal coronary angiography (PTCA) has been increased recent years. The purpose of this study was to measurement of effective dose to cardiology staffs who operate near the patient and are exposed to non-uniform radiation field due to patient scattered radiation. Detailed angiographic analysis of high-speed mechanical rotational atherectomy in human coronary arteries.

BACKGROUND Several types of atherectomy devices have been developed recently for treatment of patients with ischemic heart disease. METHODS AND RESULTS Mechanical rotational atherectomy (MRA) using a high-speed rotational burr (Rotablator) was performed on 116 lesions in 104 patients. MRA alone was performed in 27 lesions (23%), and conventional balloon angioplasty (PTCA) was performed after ...
